Cyber Security Analyst
Salary Range: $2,000-$3,000 / month
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity events, including network events, OS logs, and forensic data.
- Conduct forensic data interpretation and eDiscovery tasks.
- Lead investigations and manage small projects independently.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct investigations and respond to cyber incidents.
- Monitor security feeds and dashboards for anomalies and potential threats.
- Analyze security logs and events to identify and investigate suspicious activities.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Assist in incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Configure and maintain security tools and technologies.
- Generate reports and presentations on security incidents and trends.
- Work with security and IT teams to enhance overall security posture.
- Continuously learn and explore new security methodologies and technologies.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical expertise in security solutions, including Windows, Linux, networking, security architecture, packet flow/TCP/UDP traffic, firewalls, proxies, cloud solutions, anti-virus, and malware analysis.
- Proven experience in handling security incidents and incident response.
- Familiarity with SIEM and log correlation tools.
- Strong decision-making skills for remediation and countermeasures.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
- Ability to anticipate problems and take proactive measures.
- Strong planning and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent activities.
