Data Engineer
Salary Range: $2,500-$3,500 / month
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the administration, maintenance and support of ETL pipelines, reports, and databases using various tools and technologies.
- Serve as the primary support for databases, automated jobs, and reports. This includes monitoring notifications, conducting root cause analysis, and resolving issues.
- Assist in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining data warehousing processes using a variety of ETL tools.
- Design, implement, and monitor business and process efficiently metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure data accuracy and reliability through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Create clear documentation detailing the purpose, structure, and definitions of reports and processes.
- Work closely with operational leaders to understand and meet the reporting and analytical needs of the business.
- Provide guidance on report and data usage, offering insights on leveraging these tools for business improvements.
- Participate in meetings to discuss operational enhancements and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Manage workload autonomously, adapting to changing deadlines and priorities.
- Design and implement special projects based on business needs.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field.
- Strong understanding of T-SQL and data modeling principles with experience in SQL Server Reporting
- Services, SQL Server Integration Services, Power BI, and Excel
- Ability to write C# or similar code is a plus; experience with SQL Agent and PowerShell scripts is preferred.
- Inquisitive nature with strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex analysis clearly and effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience or a strong willingness to learn tools like Atlassian JIRA, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Web Self Service, and Confluence.
- Ability to visualize concepts and data using flowcharts or similar tools, and to interpret complex data through compelling visual representations.
- Must be self-driven, focused on achieving results quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues and divisional stakeholders. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
